ohms per square, with a static decay rate of 5kV to 50V, in less than .50 seconds.
With no, or a very low, initial charge, Blue Static Dissipative ESD containers are ideal for use with sensitive electronic components, conductors or any items sensitive to electrostatic discharges. In contrast to CAS material which ‘conducts’ any charges with which it makes contact, BAS material ‘dissipates’ static build up in a relatively slower and more controlled way, preventing discharges to or from human contact with the product.
Static Dissipative ESD containers allow for the ultimate protection of your static sensitive integrated circuits, electronic assemblies, or medical devices. As a permanent anti-static material the Lacons® 102500-BAS Static Dissipative container is suitable as electrostatic discharge (ESD) packaging for long term storage or for short term static protection during the transport and shipping processes.

The material used to manufacture this product does not contain any allergens - defined by the FDA as Milk, Eggs, Fish, Crustaceans, Wheat, Soy, Peanuts, or Tree nuts.
Animal Derived Content
There are no known sources of Animal Derived Content in the raw materials used to manufacture this product.
Bisphenol A
This product does not contain any 4,4'-Bisphenol A (BPA), CAS # 80-05-7.
CONEG/Heavy Metals
This product meets the CONEG limitation of 100ppm for the total incidental context of cadmium, chromium, lead, or mercury. The quantity of these heavy metals is below the limits given in Annex II (Note) of the Decision 2002/525/EC of June 27th
Epoxy Derivatives
The material used to manufacture this product does not contain 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane bis (2,3-epoxypropyl) ether (BADGE), bis(hydroxyphenyl)methane bis(2,3-epoxypropyl) ethers (BFDGE) or novolac glycidyl ethers (NOGE).
European Directive 2003/11/EC
This product conforms to the European Directive 2003/11/EC of February 2003 amending 76/769/EEC of 27 July 1076. No Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB), Polychlorinated Terphenyls (PCT), Octobromo-diphenyl ethers (OctaBDE), or Decabromo-diphenyl ethers (Deca-BDE) was used in the manufacturing of this product
Latex
This product does not contain any Latex. There are no known sources of Latex in the raw materials used to manufacture this product.
Ozone Depleting Chemicals (ODC's)
No Class I or Class II ODC's listed in Resolution 1005/2009/EX were used in the manufacture or formation of this product.
Phthalates
This product does not include the intentional addition of any phthalate plasticizers, including Benzyl Butyl Phthalate (BBP), CAS #85-68-7, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), CAS #84-74-2, or Di(2-ethylhexyl) Phthalate (DEHP), CAS #117-81-8. However, the manufacturer of the polypropylene resin used in this product reports that levels of up to 5 ppm phthalates may occur as residuals from the catalyst system used to manufacture this polymer.
Revised RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU
The chemical composition of the polypropylene material used in the manufacturing of this product is compliant with the Revised RoHS Directive, 2011/65/EU. This material contains less than 0.1% of lead (Pb) or lead compounds, mercury (Hg) or mercury compounds, hexacalent chromium compounds (Cr
+6
), and polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) flame retardants or polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants; and additionally contains less than 0.01% cadmium (Cd) or cadmium compounds.
REACH SVHC
This product does not contain any of the 163 chemicals held to be Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC's) as defined by the European REACH Program. Incidental amounts of any of these chemicals occuring as impurities, if present, would be below the 0.1% threshold.
SHELF LIFE
While the shelf life of products manufactured with thermoplastic composites is considered to be indefinite if stored in stable environments, the shelf-life of our products can be extended by storing the products at room temperature, out of sunlight, and in a dry environment.
